Even in its more innovative forms, like this peach and chocolate version, Panettone is still the classic Italian cake for Christmas. Alongside the natural rising methods that give freshness and lightness to every slice, our handmade production does not use preservatives, but only quality ingredients such as peach and dark chocolate. It is then covered with almond and IGP Piedmont nut paste. It does not contain raisins or other candied fruit. Perfect for every public holiday or party, the Panettone comes in an elegant packaging designed to preserve its shape and flavour, and represents the perfect gift.
INGREDIENTS
Wheat yeast, candied peach 15% (cubed peaches, sugar, glucose-fructose syrup), egg yolk,
butter, chocolate 8,9% (cocao, sugar, glucose; emulsifier:
soya lecithin), natural yeast (wheat yeast, water), cane sugar, emulsifiers: fatty acid mono and bi-glicerides, sunflower lecithin; inverted sugar syrup, glucose-fructose syrup,
barley malt, salt, flavourings.
ALMOND PASTE AND DECORATION INGREDIENTS: sugar, almonds, egg yolks, "IGP Piedmont Nuts" 1,0%, apricot stone, rice flour. May contain other nuts and mustard.
BAKED CAKE PRODUCT MADE WITH NATURAL RISING METHODS, 8% PASTE AND 2% ALMOND DECORATION.
TIPS
The Panettone should be cut with a slow deep movement, keeping the knife parallel to the cake dish so that the air pockets in the dough are not crushed. Each slice should be around 80g each. Served exactly as it is, it goes perfectly with raisin wines but also strong-flavoured red wine.
